Yep, a counter-clockwise / left facing swastika. It can have a lot of meanings, both positive and negative [1], but its best to avoid such a similarity because of the recent, hijacked negative abuse of the symbol in first part of last century.

On a positive note the software is licensed MIT and source code is available at GitHub [2]. Its linked to in the article, but they use a tracking link by Facebook, sigh...
