Just watch until many realize that WFH leads to people moving within the greater US and what timezone differences truly mean to your work-life balance.

Living in pacific time zone and dealing with Europe, East Coast and Asia just suuuuuuuuuuuuucks.

An alternative perspective: I work in EST and my coworkers are in Munich. It takes planning but it works out fine. We picked meeting times for critical things that line up correctly between us all, do minimal meetings, etc. I've also been on boarding to an extremely large and complex company at this point and so far I am CME.

At my previous company we also had people on the west coast and east coast.

The main thing: be flexible and reasonable. Does standup have to happen at 8AM? Will the world end of it's at noon? Probably not.

Most places only allow local timezones, even european jobs.

Doesn’t stop the mandatory cross team meetings with the dudes in Hyderabad at 3am.
